Treasure Hunting In Perth, Western Australia

Oh hello! You've found you're way to my blog, or perhaps stumbled across it accidentally. Either way it’s nice to have you on board.

Now, if you're not at all interested in swap meets, op shops, vintage or antique items that smell of your Nan, mothballs, old houses, damp or bees wax furniture polish, or if you don’t find the sight of two dealers finger pointing and stamping their feet, squabbling over an old sewing machine like two feral seagulls fighting over a chip in a crowded market place even slightly amusing, then you’re in the wrong blog.

You're going to come with me on my many treasure hunts for collectable items starting in Perth, Western Australia. You'll be joining me at swap meets, garage sales, antique and collectable fairs and of course the old reliable op shops. In fact, I'll be giving you a detailed run down of how, where and when, what not to do (like DO NOT drink coffee before you leave home if there isn't a loo on site) and how to get regular sellers save you the best buys (e.g. bribery in the form of morning tea) how to spot a dealer and where to find a loo if you did have that cup of coffee!

So sit back and enjoy.

Marywin
